IRO Clay T Shirt

It’s no secret (if you’ve been following me on Twitter) that I’ve been obsessed with destroyed clothes lately. I was, and still am, a major supporter of the distressed denim trend, and have moved on to bigger and better destroyed-ment!

Okay, what I really mean by that is more expensive.

**Cue my impulsive yet oh so necessary purchase of the IRO Clay T Shirt**

After seeing many pictures of this infamous tee pop up recently, especially on my major style crush Kylie Jenner, I knew I had to have it. Luckily my birthday was this month so I honestly had every right to splurge!

After hunting the internets like a middle schooler at Forever 21 on Black Friday, I finally found it in off white, or umm excuse me,  “Ecru”, on one of my favorite retail sites! I ordered it in an L for a little bit of an oversized fit. It’s not an oversized tee, so it fits like a normal one and I could’ve gone smaller, but I like my tops loose fitting. It is perfect. And even better in person!

I paired it with a casual pair of denim shorts and some biker boots (not sure what their actual name is… but they look like something a biker would wear) added a leather jacket for some extra edge and my fav pair of Le Specs sunnies.

Am I Kylie Jenner yet?!

More on my distressed obsession later.

Monday Wish List

Since it’s that time of year, I’ve decided to comprise a wish list for all the amazing things I have been lusting over lately.

I never, ever expect or ask for everything I ‘want’ during the Holidays because:

A) I usually want everything I see.

B) That is ridiculous.

Plus, I truly believe that Giving is Receiving.

So, here is a small list of some fabulous things I’ve been eyeing!

1. CC Skye Angel Wing Necklace

angel-wing-necklace

This necklace, made popular by Nicole Richie, is actually to die for. It is the perfect size and perfect gold. I noticed Kendall Jenner wearing it during the Kardashian Christmas Special last night and spent the next two hours hunting it down. NEED.

It originally runs anywhere from $190-150, but I was able to find it for only $120 on Amazon.

2. Alexander Wang Rocco Duffel with Rose Gold Hardware

rocco

If you know me at all, you know how much I LUST over this bag. Ever since Mary-Kate and Ashley made it the “it” bag a few years back, I haven’t been able to let it go. It’s just so fab.

The best way to shop for this bag is to watch for sales. This amazing website updates the current Rocco sales regularly! It’s also available right now on Shopbop for only $740 using promo code: BIGEVENT13

3. Saint Laurent Rangers Studded Leather Boots

stlaurent

These boots! I can’t even deal. They are everything. Katy Perry was recently seen in them as well as Kourtney Kardashian. I loved the way they styled them leaving a couple of the buckles unhinged. It added dimension and gave them a chunkier, effortless edgy feel. Current dream shoe for Winter!

These are currently on sale at Net-A-Porter for a pretty penny!

4. New Balance High Roller 574 Sneaker

newbal2

I’ve been wanting these for some time now. I love the maroon color and the style of this lovely running shoe (although I can’t ever see myself running in anything but my Nike Frees). This shoe is the perfect casual sneak to throw on with some leggings.

There’s a version with a white “N” on Urban Outfitters, but it is sold out. I can’t tell if I prefer that better, but the maroon “N” will have to do for $70 on New Balance.

5. Pixie Market Black Faux Fur Coat

fur

I can see this as a total staple in my Winter Wardrobe this season! It’s so dope and the hint of leather and gold zipper add a biker vibe to it that a regular fur coat wouldn’t have. Looooove.

Purchase for $129 at Pixie Market.

I hope you liked my wish list and maybe got some ideas for yours! Happy shopping on this CYBER MONDAY!

Blank NYC Ripped Jeans

Happy Friday!

So, It’s the end of August and Fall is near. EEEEEK!

But that means it’s time to get ahead of the game with Fall fashion!

The easiest way to transition into the Fall is to stick to summer basics while adding simple Fall trends into the mix.

My favorite trend for the upcoming season? Ripped Jeans. Uhb-sessed.

They’re comfy and casual yet EDGY, which is why I can’t seem to get enough of them. They go with practically anything (hello, they’re jeans!) and can immediately amp up a look with style and trendiness. What’s not to love?

This is how I styled my favorite Blank NYC Ripped Jeans:

I paired the jeans with a crop top, flannel, and open toed booties. The crop top and booties are summery and by adding the flannel, I am ready for any kind of weather. Perfect for daytime fun or even an early dinner out :) I prefer to wear heels with jeans to avoid looking dumpy… you know what I mean…

I love the way this outfit turned out and since Fall is my absolute favorite kind of Fashion, expect many more posts to come!

Nude Booties

Just because it’s warm out doesn’t mean all your winter shoes have to be boxed up and stored under your bed… especially your ankle booties. I LOVE ankle booties. Even in warm weather! It’s perfectly fine to wear them because they’re short and don’t look as winter-ish as taller boots. The only thing that might be a problem with wearing them in the summer time is the dark, harsh colors… this brings me to my topic of the post: Nude Booties.

Booties go with everything! Ranging from sundresses to leggings… you really can’t go wrong! Especially if they’re NUDE. With all the fun bright colors available to wear this season, nude booties tone them down and dress them up. What’s not to love?

My friend and I had been hunting for the perfect pair of nude booties ever since it was almost warm out and mildly acceptable to be wearing shorts (so, some time around April) and we happened to discover these beautiful little soles (get it?):

They’re fun, casual, feminine and on trend for summer booties, yet can definitely be worn come fall and winter! I HAD to have them!

I purchased mine for $226 ($208+$19 tax) on Nasty Gal here with FREE SHIPPING!

They are sold out in most sizes on Nordstrom, but they also carry them here.

Summer Must-Haves

Happy first day of June!

The Summer months are officially here! :)  Whether you plan on laying by the pool, running off to the beach, or even embarking on a tropical vacation, I’ve put together some of my favorite summer must-haves to ensure a fab time!

1. New Bikinis

My most favorite part of summer is shopping around for a new bikini to wear by the pool and at the beaches. I love bandeau style bikinis because they deliver the smallest tan-lines (a must) and are very flattering on me! I love styling a bright, fun bandeau top with a dark solid bottom. Don’t forget your shades or sun hat :)

2. Sunscreen

The most important topic! Sunscreen. Unless you’ve been living under a rock you know how damaging the sun’s UV rays can be to your skin. Always, and I mean always apply sunscreen to your face and body while in the sun this summer. When I’m going for that tan skin, I apply a lighter SPF to my body (not lower than 30) and a tanning oil over it for a sun-kissed glow. For my lips, I apply a tinted balm for a hint of color and moisture.

3. Summer Reads

I love starting new books in the summer. Laying out on a lounge chair is the perfect time to get lost in a story. My favorite book has always been The Great Gatsby (go see the movie, you’ll like it, promise!) so I decided to re-read it after all the recent hype. Also, I came across the Bling Ring while browsing Target and am excited to read about the gang of Hollywood kids who robbed celebrities. I’ll let you know how it is :)
