Blank NYC Ripped Jeans

Happy Friday!

So, It’s the end of August and Fall is near. EEEEEK!

But that means it’s time to get ahead of the game with Fall fashion!

The easiest way to transition into the Fall is to stick to summer basics while adding simple Fall trends into the mix.

My favorite trend for the upcoming season? Ripped Jeans. Uhb-sessed.

They’re comfy and casual yet EDGY, which is why I can’t seem to get enough of them. They go with practically anything (hello, they’re jeans!) and can immediately amp up a look with style and trendiness. What’s not to love?

This is how I styled my favorite Blank NYC Ripped Jeans:

I paired the jeans with a crop top, flannel, and open toed booties. The crop top and booties are summery and by adding the flannel, I am ready for any kind of weather. Perfect for daytime fun or even an early dinner out :) I prefer to wear heels with jeans to avoid looking dumpy… you know what I mean…

I love the way this outfit turned out and since Fall is my absolute favorite kind of Fashion, expect many more posts to come!

All Black Everything

Yesterday my friend and I hit up Union Square for some serious shopping. I don’t usually brave the SF weekend crowds but every now and then it’s fun to play tourist in your own city! The atmosphere is unlike anything else and the people always inspire me. I love it and have decided I’m going to do it more often :)

I like to be comfortable when I shop! It allows for the most shopping success!

I decided to wear a super fun fringe kimono I got from Forever 21 just last week. It’s sweater-like and over sized, my absolute faves. I’ve been eyeing a black kimono from Urban Outfitters for some time but can’t seem to justify spending over $70 on a trend-peice. But… maybe one day :)

I paired it with my all time favorite leggings from American Apparel and a simple black tank.  I love wearing all black, it’s my weakness. On my feet I wore my comfy wedged sneakers since I knew there would be lots of walking!

My bun: I love second day hair because I get the chance to wear it up and try something new. The day before I had curled my hair so it was textured from sleeping on it all night. I brushed all my hair into a tight pony-tail on top of my head and secured it with an elastic. I then wrapped my hair around and secured it into a bun. I pulled it apart to make it a little bigger to my liking. Then I sprayed some hairspray in the bun to tie down any fly-aways as well as all over my hair for the extra sleek look. It was super easy, I promise! Try it :)

4th Of July Outfit

I absolutely LOVE the 4th of July!

Ever since I can remember my family has been celebrating by going to the beach, setting off fireworks, and being with our best and closest friends.

It’s so fun to dress up for Holidays, especially themed Holidays, and the 4th of July is no exception.

There are only three rules you must follow: Red. White. and Blue.

However you decide to rock our colors on this patriotic day is up to you! Have fun with it! Remember to wear whatever makes you feel happy and confident, because that is what’s most important :)

I chose to wear cut-off flag shorts, a “You Can’t Sit With Us” graphic tee, high tops and accessorize with a red lip.

What’s more American than “Mean Girls” and Chucks?

Hope you have a happy Fourth whichever way you celebrate! :)

Nude Booties

Just because it’s warm out doesn’t mean all your winter shoes have to be boxed up and stored under your bed… especially your ankle booties. I LOVE ankle booties. Even in warm weather! It’s perfectly fine to wear them because they’re short and don’t look as winter-ish as taller boots. The only thing that might be a problem with wearing them in the summer time is the dark, harsh colors… this brings me to my topic of the post: Nude Booties.

Booties go with everything! Ranging from sundresses to leggings… you really can’t go wrong! Especially if they’re NUDE. With all the fun bright colors available to wear this season, nude booties tone them down and dress them up. What’s not to love?

My friend and I had been hunting for the perfect pair of nude booties ever since it was almost warm out and mildly acceptable to be wearing shorts (so, some time around April) and we happened to discover these beautiful little soles (get it?):

The Jeffrey Campbell ISLEY STRAPPED BOOT in beige.

They’re fun, casual, feminine and on trend for summer booties, yet can definitely be worn come fall and winter! I HAD to have them!

I purchased mine for $226 ($208+$19 tax) on Nasty Gal here with FREE SHIPPING!

They are sold out in most sizes on Nordstrom, but they also carry them here.
